My PC only has one jack at the top which I plugged my Razer headphones in and would allow me to speak and hear at the same time. I took out my Razer headphones from the audio jack on my PC and when I plugged it back in a notification popped up asking what I was plugging in a line, a mic, headphones, or speakers a line didn't allow me to do anything neither did speakers mic allowed me to talk and headphones allowed me to listen when I clicked it brought me to the Realtek audio console where I messed around and on the bottom it allowed me two edit what the two jacks did but my PC only had one ja

I cant hear any audio when I turn on my pc but when I unplug and replug my audio jack then I can hear so what should I do

 

Windows 10 - Pc not playing audio through headphones, stopped detecting headphones

Apologises if this is not the place to ask this, I've been trying to find a solution to this for about a week now and stumbled onto this site. If its the wrong place, simply tell me and ill try to find a correct site to post this.

I've been having problems with my Windows 10 pc in-regards to headphones. It does not want to detect them as headphones and instead as speakers. The first time this happened, I was able to solve the issue by using the first results I've gotten from google(disabling front audio jack detection, checking for sound driver updates, etc).

Its been 2 weeks since then, and the issue has suddenly started up again. I've checked the audio drivers, and they're the most up to date versions. I've tried unplugging and replugging the headphones in, restarting windows with the headphones plugged in, restarting windows with the headphones not plugged in, enabling and disabling the audio jack detection, plugging other pairs of headphones in, trying a USB and a 3.5MM audio headset, but nothing is working. Google has kept giving me the same 'solutions' constantly and I've ran out of ideas. If anyone can help me that would be fantastic.

 

Audio jack seems not detect my headphone

I have a windows 10 laptop and up until yesterday everything was fine , and suddenly it seems that my audio jack doesn;t detect my headphone. I connect my headphone to the audio jack, but the sounds just came out my laptop's speaker. I've tried to switch to my earphone and the result is the same. I've tried several solutions like uninstalling my driver or trying to get to the sounds properties , but the results are the same. Please give me your help , and btw I'm new here.
