    I'm on Windows 10 home version 1909 build 18363.959 64-bit.

I was trying to use my camera when it gave me an error code 0x80270200. I looked it up and found that my photo files were read only. I changed them back but they revert to read only no matter what I do. So I checked some other files and found that all my files are read only. What's odd it is that I can still change, delete or add things to these files, they just all say read only in properties. I've tried changing all the files back but they just become read only again.

    :)

Read Only - Widows 10 changed all my files to read only - "Administrator Permission?

I have the same problem. From the Documents folder on down all the files are now marked Read Only. I tried Method 1 with no success. I am listed as the administrator and have all permissions, yet it won't let my change the Read Only for Documents and all
    subordinate folders.

  3. Change read only on all files.

Computer shut off couple of days ago. Now all my folders are read only. I have went to the folder.

    and:

    • Right-click on your C Drive, and choose Properties.
    • Go to Security tab.
    • Click Advanced, then Change Permissions.
    • Highlight the user, and click Edit.
    • Choose This folder, subfolders and files under Applies to:.
    • Choose Full Control under Basic Permissions.

It has not worked. the folders revert back to read only.

The only difference is, I now have onedrive on my PC

All files are Read-Only after upgrade to Windows 10

As soon as I allowed One Drive to start all of my folders (Documents, etc.) became Read Only. While I can change the Read Only status of a file for that one time accessing it, but after restarting the file that had been successfully changed is then back
to Read only again. I cannot change the Read Only status of the Documents folder. When I try to change the Read Only status of the Documents Folder it appears to make the change and goes through changing all the sub folders and files, however when it finishes
nothing has changed the Documents Folder and all sub folders and files are still Read Only. If I can't get rid if these problems caused by the One Drive, I will have no choice but to roll back the Windows 7. How can I get rid of the One Drive and get my permissions
    back like they were?
