    After installing a 2nd SSD, my HDDD is gone.


    Hello everyone. Until now I’ve had one ssd C and another HDDD. I recently installed a new ssd and classified it as S and ever since that my HDD is gone. What should I do? Thank you. I can’t see the HDD on the bios as well. I did not disconnect it.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Issues with installation of new MSATA SSD

    My biggest issue at the moment is trying to get the computer itself to recognise the SSD as a UEFI boot device in the BIOS. I don't think any of the steps listed are going to help with that as I had to essentially reformat when doing the 2nd/3rd installation earlier after I had set the BIOS to UEFI only and had changed the SSD from MBR to GPT. I guess I am after some directional information on how to create an EFI partition on the SSD, I don't seem to be able to do this using disk part as it says the drive doesn't have space to do so.

    How to view 2nd drive?

    as suggested by Steve (enssenbe). Open Admin Command Prompt and type:
    1. diskpart
    2. list disk

    is your SSD listed ?
