    I recently looked into upgrading my Asus Creator Q530VJ Laptops SSD, by making use of the 2nd M.2 PCIe slot that it had. So, I bought a Crucial P3 1TB SSD and plopped it in, device didn't recognize it, nor did it even show up under File Explorer. So I factory reset my laptop, which caused it to blue screen in an endless loop after the reset was done.I returned the SSD and bought a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD and placed it in as well. I had to reset the system again and install Windows from Cloud Download. After that was done, the system now recognized the drive, but then another issue came

    Doing a fresh Server 2022 install on a SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 500GB NVMe M.2

    I am trying to install Windows Server 2022 on a new Beelink Mini PC system with a SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD. The install prompts me for a driver, which I can only assume is for the SSD. Samsung's web site only has an exe that contains the drivers and I cannot seem to extract them. Has anyone come across this and/or have a solution?

    Thanks for your reply.

    There is no driver software with the drive. The box only has the SSD and an information booklet. I did go to the Samsung website to find drivers but the only ones there are drivers that
    support Samsung NVMe SSDs: SSD 970 PRO, 970 EVO, 970 EVO Plus, 960 PRO, 960 EVO and 950 PRO.

    Also, the Samsung Magician software fails to recognize the drive. According to page 8 of the installation guide: "3) Magician shows only volumes mounted with letter." Since
    I can't assign a drive letter that is of no use.

    On another message board there is the suggestion to use a SATA to USB adapter which I'm going to try when the adapter comes in on Thursday. After that is third party formatting software.
