Windows 10: after installing Windows 10 HOME version 2004, I can no longer use wushowhide.diagcab to...

I have a HP printer that tries to re-install the USB driver every few days, even though it is already working properly. I wish to use wushowhide.diagcab to hide the update since it is not needed. Previously this hide program worked, now it does not, after installing version 2004. Instead of hiding the update, the wushowhide program appears to try to repair it. I don't want to repair it, I want to hide it, as before.


attached is a more detailed description:

- run wushowhide.diagcab

- click on Advanced

- deselect "Apply repairs automatically"

- click "Next"

- click "Hide Updates"

- select the driver "Hewlett-Packard USB"

- click "Next"

- keep "Hide updates" selected

- get a message "verifying fix"

- get a message saying the driver is fixed. However, I did not want to fix it. I wanted to hide it.

- close the dialog

- reopen wushowhide.diagcab to find the driver is still present, as before

Most painless way to reinstall windows 10?

Im thinking of creaters fall if i should block it, prevent it form being installed with wushowhide, it is almost downloaded

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

installing version 2004

To solve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Rollback to the last Stable version of Windows. Basically, restore your system to the last stable point.

2. Download the Windows Update Assistant tool.

3. Install the updates as recommended by that tool.

Note: Windows 10 version 2004 has brought a lot of bugs with it. The best way to move forward is to wait until a patched Windows 10 version 2004 is released.
