    Should I join the Insider Programme?

    Hi irinelonofrei

    The first thing to consider is, do you need a working PC that functions well all the time

    If you do, then don't join the Insiders Program

    The insiders program is more suited to people that have a couple of PC's one for everyday use and one, they like to experiment on and maybe sometimes, don't mine having to clean install Windows on . .

    When you join the Insiders program, you essentially are beta testing the new features and updates, you should never beta test anything on a PC that you need to be fully functional . . .

    I am on Insider Build 17604.1000, chose to opt out a few months ago, and now my build has expired (as of 7/2/2018) with no option to update

    Sorry, Insider Builds do have an expiry date. You would have to do a clean install of Build 17134, rollback isn't possible.

    One thing I can suggest is to rejoin the Insider Program , join the slow ring and get to 17692 which is pretty stable.

    Cannot recive the latest build after joining Insiders Program

    Hi..did'nt anyone suggest to uninstall any third party antivirus software?...I guess thru out the mess it did'nt come up for some reason...it usually is a common step....

    By the way build 14342 is now set to receive in the 'Slow Ring' and will be out as an ISO soon.*john
