Windows 10: After latest update my laptop shuts down instead of sleeping when I close the lid.

Since my laptop upgraded a couple of weeks ago with the automatic patches/upgrades, it does not sleep when I close the lid. It is like an abrupt power off. When I open the lid again, I get "Windows did not shut down properly" and it starts from scratch with a cache rebuild. After the rebuild, I sometimes I get the "Windows did not start properly" screen and I get the option to restart. I have checked the power plan settings and they are set to sleep when lid is closed. I changed them to do nothing and then back to sleep to force Windows to toggle the settings with no change. According to

This scenario happens when your Power Options is misconfigured. For us to have this isolated, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Select Settings.
• Click on System.
• Select Power & sleep tab.
• On the right side, click on Additional power settings.
• On the left pane, select Choose what closing the lid does.
• Under Power button and lid settings, click the drop down next to
  When I close the lid.
• Select Shut down.
• Click on Save changes button.
• When you’re ready to make your PC shut down, close your laptop's lid.
  

Note: Every time that you will close the lid, your laptop will automatically shut down.

Laptop Shuts Down (Instead of Sleeping) after few minutes when I Close the Lid.

I recently bought an Alienware M15 R7 Laptop. It is running Windows 11 Home. The issue I am facing is that, when I close the lid the laptop goes to sleep and when I open it it wakes up from sleep but when the laptop is left idle for few minutes after closing the lid, it force shuts down automatically even though my apps are running it closes and when I open the lid after few minutes, it boots up from the beginning.

The closing lid settings is mentioned that when I close the lid the laptop must go to sleep. Tried disabling fast startup option. I have tried almost all the troubleshooting steps but still I am facing the issue. If anyone else has faced this issue and got it resolved kindly respond with the solution. Thank you.

I've got a problem (or a feature ? Not so sure) that when I finish my work, I shutting down my laptop, while waiting it to be shut down, I close the lid.
The problem is when I close the lid, the laptop go into sleep mode, and when I back to work, I open the lid to press the power button and it resume the 'shut down' process.
This hasn't happen before, any suggestion ? Many thanks
