Windows 10: After login smoothly screen goes blank except for cursor

So, i was downloading a file when suddenly file explorer crashed, using task manager i closed file explorer which got rid of my taskbar and backround screen aswell as all apps on my desktop, i try a pc restart, it looks fine i login and its just a blank screen with no task bar, no backround, just a cursor, please help

Screen goes blank after changing BIOS settings/

I don't know how long this has been happening, a few weeks at least, but whenever I change a setting in my BIOS (and save & exit), my screen goes blank and my monitor goes into standby. Any suggestions to fix this?

 

Blank screen with cursor before login

My windows 11 desktop PC suddenly started having a blank screen with cursor before login. The screen is blank from the beginning, not showing a window logo or anything during startup. Attempting access or restart in safe or recovery mode has not worked. I've attempted f4, f5, f8 on reboot, attempted to shut down during startup 3 times to trigger safe startup, tried win+ctrl+shift+B (which flashes the screen and centers the cursor but does not fix the problem), even ctrl+alt+del, and nothing seems to work. Interestingly, if I don't interact with the computer for a few minutes, the normal pre-login screen displays with the accurate date and time, and showing internet connection and the weather, news, and market information at the bottom which is up-to-date. Any attempt to interact with the keyboard or mouse returns it to a blank screen with cursor, and after a few minutes of waiting the pre-login screen comes back on. If I wait even longer, my normal custom photos screensaver even comes on.

How do I correct this problem?

Blank screen with mouse cursor after login

I have an HP Pavilion 17-1053us laptop. The issue is as follows:

Upon turning on it will get to the login screen. You see a full screen with login in box. Put in password and the boot starts. Then when you would expect the desktop to appear, I get a black screen with a mouse cursor. I get the same if I try safe mode. I can get to troubleshoot after interrupting boot a few times. I can also get to CTR ALT DELETE stuff. I did a restore point back to before this started and still have the issue. Tried a few things found googling but no go, so I came here to get suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve.
