Windows 10: After mandatory windows upgrade, now I cannot sign into windows. Says my password is...

After a mandatory windows update, now I cannot sign into windows. I'm getting a message that the password is incorrect. This is the same password that I have always used and never changed. I have made sure that it is being typed correctly and caps lock is off. I have tried restarting the computer too.

I have upgraded to windows 11 a 5 days ago I want to roll back, I usually sign in my laptop with PIN and I forgot my password. So, after roll back can I sign-in with PIN or password is mandatory ?

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
