After Microsoft cumulative update KB5063060 my Acer swift 3 laptop unable to connect to my WiFi network. My wifi not listed as available network. Manually added network still won't connect. Have tried troubleshooting with network provider no success. Have reset networks. Uninstalled network adapter, reinstalled. I'm able to connect to my cell phone when it's setup as a hotspot. Other devices connect to network without a problem. I've tried to uninstall the update but still won't connect.

ACER SWIFT 3 laptop crippled

Ever since Windows 11, version 23H2 was installed on my Acer SWIFT 3 my lap top has been performing like a 3-legged dog with gout. I uninstalled the update, but no better. Cursor new stutters across the screen until I restart (have to do this numerous times per day). I also have dozens of 'Documents' screens come up. Any suggestions before I throw away the laptop and get an Apple ??

 

Touchpad not working on Acer Swift 3 Laptop

I have a one year old Acer Swift 3. Today I noticed the touchpad had stopped working entirely, meaning I can only use my mouse. Here is what I have tried:

- Updating driver from device manager (I cannot even find a driver for my touchpad listed, even with hidden devices shown)

- Finding a driver from Acer (no touchpad drivers listed at all for my model)

- Pressing Fn + F7 multiple times

- Restarting the PC

- Updating

I would be surprised if the problem was physical because I don't use my touchpad all that much, so wear after only a year seems unlikely.

EDIT: I have noticed that when the laptop is on the lock screen, it displays a warning that the touchpad is deactivated. This happens despite repeatedly clicking Fn + f7, and the touchpad showing as enabled in settings.

 

NEW Acer Swift 1 - Unable to setup Fingerprint

I recently bought a new Acer Swift 1 laptop, but I'm unable to get the fingerprint option set up. I've tried almost all suggestion from a previous thread posted by someone else, but I have not have much success. Please help!!
