Windows 10: After my computer did an update, it says I need to activate windows.

I installed from windows 10 pro with product key. Microsoft gave free upgrade to windows 11 pro. I have no product key. After my computer did an update a couple days ago, it is now telling me to active windows. Trouble shoot did not help. I get Error code: 0xC004F213. I would call Microsoft but I don't see a number to call for assistance, nor can I get to a live chat. I just need some help to figure this out as I'm not sure what to do.

For verification, now you are saying it isn't activated and Microsoft won't help you?

So now I have a clean install and windows is activated, what are my steps to find out why my original windows install wasn’t activated......

I await instructions........

and apart from checking activation, I do everything else as per your suggestions......will in future check validated once a month.......
