    20 days ago I updated my windows 10 home. Now the version is 1607. But after updating my laptop started using too much RAM. Earlier it was using 2.5 gb but now its using always 6 gb of RAM. Please suggest me what should I do. Thanks in advance.

    More details:

    My computer is a Laptop: Dell Inspiron 5520 Running Windows 10 Home edition V1607 OS 14393.1593

    6GB RAM, 550GB free Disk space.

    The first time I ran the update it gave an error message (0x80070652) (6GB of data had been used). I tried again and it froze at 29% (again 6GB data had been used) I restarted and it continued (using 7.5GB of data). Following the instructions the laptop
    rebooted but on checking the update had not installed (as I understand the new version is 1703)

    I've run windows 10 troubleshooter again and that has "fixed" issues it came across.

    As update seems to be over 6GB I run it overnight as my monthly broadband allowance is not eroded then. I will have another try this evening but any suggestions or checks to try beforehand will be much appreciated.
