    Hi. Starting about a week ago, after I open Edge, after a few seconds or so it sounds like a radio station is playing. It is very clear. Does not happen on any other browser or at any other time. It happens intermittently. I'm running version 21H1 Build 19043.1081. I did a search for this issue and only found 1 item referring to this but that was in 2016 before Edge Chromium. SFC and DISM all good. No virus or malware found. Thanks in advance for any replies.

    visual radio station directory

    A question regarding Visual Radio.

    When I want to pick radio stations from the directory, the list keeps returning to the highest level, the continents.

    For example, when i choose Europe, I expect that the next choice to be from European countries. But the next list to choose from is the same as the first.

    Is it only me experiencing this? Any suggestions?

    I use the N95, this behaviour was both before and after a total reset and firmware upgrade to v12.0.013.

    Internet Radio Stations

    Adding a station is mentioned but the routine for that isn't listed. Here is a quick routine. It uses somaFM stations as the examples but enter the URL you need at that point of the routine to find Internet Radio happiness.



    To Add A Station to the N900 Internet Radio

    • Tap Media Button
    • Tap Internet Radio
    • Tap Internet radio stations
    • Tap Add radio bookmark
    • Tap web address entry field
    • Enter http://voxsc1.somafm.com:8850
    • Tap down caret with line under it to finalise entry (upper right corner)
    • Tap Name entry field
    • Enter the name of the station
    • Tap down caret with line under it to finalise entry (upper right corner)
    • Tap Save button
    At this point the N900 will bring you back to the list of entered radio bookmarks. An information bar will appear across the screen informing you the media bookmark has been saved.

    Scroll through list of bookmarks until you find the one you just created, based upon what you called it.

    Tap the bookmark - enjoy!

    Substitute any of the URLs below for http://voxsc1.somafm.com:8850 in the routine above to add additional stations.

    In general, get the station you want on your N900 to play in Windows Media Player. In Windows Media Player go to File|Properties and the Location listed in Properties will be the URL to enter in the routine above. This will yield the URLs for the stations I
