Windows 10: After opening the emojis panel, typing get messed up for some time

Whenever I try to type in the search box in the emojis panel, the keys pressed in my keyboard do not match whats being writen in the box. And it stays that way for some seconds after closing.In the following gif, I will only smash my keyboard in the search box.T0- =qwer sdjsk djs kdjsd skjr the lazy dogFirst thing to notice: the characters being typed in the search box always follow this sequence: -=qwertyuiop´[]asdfghjklç~'zxcvbnm,.;1234567890Second thing: after I close the emoji box, I will start typing "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", but you will see the letters are all wrong

Win10 Emoji Panel Won't Open

Anyway,

I'm running the latest version of win 10 and the emoji panel will not open,
using either *Start+ ., or *Start + ; key's.

I've done a system file check and no integrity violations were found.

Is there a know service, that needs to be turned on/running for this to work?
Or maybe there's a setting I've overlooked, or perhaps turned off?

Any suggestion on how to correct this issue, would be greatly appreciated.

As a side note:
The emoji panel use to open as intended, but now it doesn't.
It also did not function, prior to the latest August 14, 2018 - KB4343909 (OS Build 17134.228) update.

 

Windows Emoji Panel Opened But Cannot Type Anywhere

Greetings!

I am still new here, hopes to get guidance here.

I recently realised that my emoji panel not working. The thing here is when I press Windows Key + . the
emoji panel shown up, but when I clicked on any of the emoji or symbols there, it is
not typed anywhere, Microsoft Word, Chrome, etc..

I also realised that it save my history, for example after I clicked a specific emoji, the close the panel and reopen it, the last emoji I clicked (although not typed in) shown up on top left of the panel, means the
last used is recorded.

Hopefully someone knowledgeable able to help me figure this out.

Win10 Emoji Panel Won't Open

I think you'll have to find another guinea pig, to try this out on, because I'm not willing.

I'd rather wait for the fall update and take it from there.
Unfortunately, nothing suggested has worked.

My thinking is,
that this may be a registry issue,
which I have no idea how to correct, or where to look and what to amend.

Anyone know what registry entries, I might want to check out and what might need to be changed?

Actually, I don't really use the emoji panel anyway.
It's just another culmination of small issues, that win10 has failed to seamlessly incorporate.
Don't get me wrong...
Windows 10 is the best thing they've ever created.
I'm very happy with it.

I don't understand why some people would want to post,
that this feature works for them?
Am I missing something here? *Huh
