    The big hassle with rebooting used to be finding your way back to where you were, with all the various apps and browser pages you had open. These days, it pretty much gets you back to where you were. I even noticed today that a Notepad file I hadn't saved came up with all its content present. One thing though still causes me to dread the reboot. It's the state that browsers return to, specifically ones that were paused on YouTube videos. They come back with the peek view showing the browser page blank ie, just the browser's logo. When you click on one that was paused on a YouTube video prior

    Video pauses in Netflix app, and Chrome

    Thanks for the reply, but you didn't read my entire post.

    Video does not just pause in the Netflix for Windows App, it also pauses in Chrome and in Internet Explorer. I have not fully tested Edge yet though. The reason why I was using IE is because the first time I tried to play a video from the Amazon site in the Edge
    browser there was an error.

    There are no pauses using Firefox browser.

    To be clear, video pauses momentarily in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer (used purely for testing purposes) and the Netflix App. It does not appear to be pausing in Firefox browser. Video can pause on video's being played in Amazon and YouTube. It is
    not an issue that is affecting only the Netflix App.

    Is there an updated video driver for the surface 3 that is Windows 10 certified?

    Any suggestions??

    Sleep After Inactivity Causes Paused YouTube Videos to Play

    Hi Daniel,

    For us to identify the possible reason why YouTube plays even your computer is idle, we'd like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue(e.g. Windows updates)?
    • Are you encountering the issue using different browsers?
