    After reinstalling Windows microphone sound really low.


    Hey, I reinstalled Windows two days ago and with that came a problem where my microphone was so low to a point where my mates on Skype/Discord can barely hear me. I've turned the volume to 100 and even bought a new microphone but still the volume is really low. I have tried googling this problem but none of the googled answers worked because I have turned all the levels up and that is not the problem.

    My windows version: 1909 (OS build:18363.752).

    What was your previous Windows build- before reinstalling?

    What microphone are you using?

    This is the boost I was referring to. It sounds as if you don't have that as you refer only to '100'.

    Hey, yes I've tried that as well. That is also not the problem. Even when I put the microphone to 100 it is really low, compared to before the update my microphone was at 30% and it was louder than it is now at 100%. something happened with the update, maybe it is the drivers but have no idea how to work around the issue.
