Windows 10: After replacing hard drive, I can't get my system back to Windows 10

I am dealing with an older HP Pavillion Elite HPE-112y here, refurbing it. I have a legit copy of Windows 7 premium home addition, and had upgraded to Windows 10, during the offer for free upgrade, several years ago. I replaced the hard drive; and now, have managed to get back the Windows update service via 4 manual updates to the Windows updater, and couple settings changed TS.1 AND 2; and installing my win7premium home recovery disks, to new drive. I also managed to install service pack 1 manual install. So, I seem to be operating now, on the new drive Seagate 2GIG compute do to MBR forma

Windows 10, Occasional Error, No Hard Drive, after Hard Drive Replacement

Replacing old hard drive, need way to copy Windows installation across

Hey Guys,
What would be the best way of copying/imaging the entire contents of an old system drive over to a replacement hard disk for the same machine? I need to copy the Windows installations and all other data to the new drive, and then format the old drive to use as a backup.

Any suggestions? *Smile
