I've run services.msc and tried restarting the installer, no changeI've run wsreset.exe, the command window shows up, but then gives me an error message, no changesI've run the Get-AppXpackage program through PowershellAdmin, and i just get an enormous error message back, telling me the program cannot be run.I even found a suggestion that I could open it through the Xbox app, but the app just attempts to open, updates, and then dissapears.How in the world is there not an easier way to download a single store appJust to be clear, the app icon is in the windows start tab, but nothing happens w

Store apps cannot be installed

I doubt it’ll help but have you gone into settings and found your apps list. Click store and then choose reset. I’ve had a few apps in the past get fixed simply by resetting them. It may nudge the store into action. It’s very fragile the store and the associated native apps. I always hold my breath when the store or one of those apps update (which seems to be far too often!)
