Windows 10: After Resetting the Windows no Output Device is Installed.

Hi, I have recently reset the Windows 10, because windows were not working properly. But after resetting the windows there was no audio on my laptop. And high definition audio device also disappeared from the device manager after attempting many things to fix this problem. I have done all the ways to fix this problem , but nothing worked. So, I reset the windows again, but still I am having this issue. After resetting the windows 10 , my laptop is working fine, but the audio has gone. What should I do to get the audio back ? There is an error , that ' No Audio Output Device Is Installed ' . Pl

Hi,

You will need to select Windows 8 from the drop down list while installing the driver in compatibility mode.

I would suggest you to try setting the speaker as default audio output by following the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Right click on the sound icon on the right bottom corner of the taskbar.

2. Select "playback devices".

3. If "speaker" is not set as the default device, highlight it and click "set as default".

5. Save the changes.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
