Windows 10: after resetting windows computer, install of windows stuck at 88% for almost an hour

So i reset my Dell computer, Inspirion 5000 series because of it being too outdated and having slowed down significantly and when it got to 96% installed, it restarted like it had been doing multiple times throughout the installation. However, upon the screen coming back on, the update was now down at 88% and has remained there for about an hour now. i was wondering if this type of occurrence is normal and what i should do if it is not normal as i need the computer i am trying to reset for my college life and for the classes i am in. and yes this computer came with windows 10 installed already.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 10 reinstallation Stuck at 88%

I was having an issue with my profile and so I decided to do a reset on my windows. I tried to do a limited restore that kept my files but the computer got to 88% and stuck. rebooted several times, used a boot disk to see if I could revert then changes.
naadaa. Any suggestions?
