Windows 10: After Restarting the pc, no changes are being saved after updating the windows 11

After I updated my windows 11 for recent updates I couldn't save any progress or setting, everything gets reset after I restart my device, Also no video is playing with any of the apps be it Films and Tv , VLC or Windows media player. Its displaying Class not registered when i try to open any of the videos and also no image is opening it shows "Windows cannot find .jpg, kindly make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Also chrome browser gets reset after restarting the device. Please help me fix this.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

if you want to change any setting just do it step by step so you know what might happen when your pc restart again and again

• Check the Turn on Fast startup (Recommended) box.
• Click on Save changes.
• Restart the computer.
