Windows 10: After return from tablet mode, touchpad not working

Dear All,I have a Lenovo X380 bought used. After a clean install of Windows 11, the touchpad worked but did not recognise multi-finger gestures most importantly, no scrolling!. So I installed the ELAN driver from Lenovo's website. Now the scrolling works, but I have a different problem: When I go into tablet mode flip over the screen and then flip it back, the touchpad does not work anymore the red Lenovo mouse-stick also does not work. An external bluetooth mouse does still work.When I restart the laptop, it's working again...Is there any solution? All drivers current version and up

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.

I suggest you to perform the following troubleshooting steps and check if it helps. Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the Task bar and select ShowTouch Keyboard Button.
  
• 
  Open the Keyboard and close it (just to check if it’s working).
  
• 
  Next click on Action center and select
  Tablet Mode.
  
• 
  Once you are in Tablet mode, again Right click on the
  Task bar and select Show Touch Keyboard Button.
  
• 
  Open the Key board and check if it’s working in Tablet mode. Next check if it’s available on the task bar in both desktop and tablet mode.

My tablet mode doesnt work

To turn on tablet mode on Windows 10, kindly follow these steps:

• Click on Start; then select Settings.
• Select System; then click on Tablet Mode.
  
• Turn on Tablet Mode.
