Windows 10: After running the Windows 11 update today, my audio both output and input has stopped working.

When I try to troubleshoot I can see my devices pop up and then the screen goes back to "No output [input] devices found". No audio works, including usb headsets and bluetooth devices. When I try to pair a new device it just buffers. I have also rebooted more times than I can count. Everything was working yesterday and stopped working after the updates. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone who is not techy? Thanks!

No audio input or output devices found

After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.

Hmm.. Looks like it is suggesting that this can be a hardware related issue.

I was going to suggest chipset driver and BIOS, but HP doesn't list BIOS for some reason for this model. So I am afraid your best next step is to contact HP support. If they deem BIOS update is necessary, they can point you to where to download it on their website, but I am more concerned that this can be a potential hardware issue.
