Windows 10: After scanning, image shows but I am unable to edit it crop Used to work on y pc

I reinstalled my Epson wf 3540 using the wireless wi-fi setup


Objects DO scan but when I click on the scanned image I am no longer able to edit it. I need to be able to crop images

Microsoft Photos no longer shows preview when cropping/editing images

I used to be able to crop images with Microsoft Photos, after which I get to see a preview of the cropped image before I can decide if I want to save it or redo the cropping. If I chose the latter, the crop marks would remain in the same position on the
image, allowing me to adjust it. Now cropping an image only lets you save a copy instead. If the crop is unsatisfactory I have to save another copy of the image, which means setting the crop marks on the image all over again. Why is it not possible to preview
the cropped image before saving anymore?

Usually when you preview a picture that was captured from camera app, it should open in the photos app where you can edit/crop it. I would suggest you to try editing/cropping the photos in
Photos app.
As you mentioned that issue occurred after the update, I would suggest follow the steps provided below and check if that helps:



Method 1: Please follow the steps provided in the article: Fix problems with apps
from Microsoft Store.



Method 2: Reinstall the app using PowerShell.

1. Open PowerShell and run it as admin. To open PowerShell, right click on the start button and then on Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Then type: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsCamera | Remove-AppxPackage.
   
   
3. Reboot your computer.
   
4. Open PowerShell again and then type: Reinstalling apps:
   Get-AppXPackage -allusers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
