Windows 10: After starting my hp22, after the sign on screen it goes blank. Any suggestions as to why

I had to reset other day but chose to keep files. Itd been awhile since i had it on but it had quite a few pending updates. Now after the start up screen it just goes blank.

Screen goes blank after changing BIOS settings/

I don't know how long this has been happening, a few weeks at least, but whenever I change a setting in my BIOS (and save & exit), my screen goes blank and my monitor goes into standby. Any suggestions to fix this?
