I'm not sure what caused this but I have a guess which I'm not entirely sure if that is the case or how to fix it.

So after the motherboard logo appears and goes away, that time it takes until the Windows login screen appears has increased than what it used to be. A few months ago, that process was almost instantly. I use an NMVe drive for my Windows 10 installation.

Heres what happened that makes me suspect this. Keep in mind, this has been going on for a few months now so it might have been happening before this or even sometime after this. Let's just says I'm ALMOST possible this happened after this issue. I used to have a contract role at Microsoft and with the whole work from home deal, I was using my own PC and not the laptop I was provided with. Then until September or so, they had some policy change where if you're using your own device you have to allow Microsoft to manage the device. Something along those lines where I had to go do the whole add a school/work email address and then allow it to be managed in one of the options that appears.

After doing that I contacted the Microsoft tech support and asked what would happen once my contract ended and I remove this as a managed device. The tech support guy told me to simply delete the work email and that was it. I even asked him if that would delete anything which he said it wouldn't. To test out his claim, I actually did try it out. I removed it, rebooted my computer and now my local user profile (admin account) was gone. I eventually got the account back by doing a system restore. That's when I believe this login screen delay started.

My Windows 10 is up to date, I have 3 things enabled to launch on startup and that was always the case before this issue. My Windows is up to date. I use an Nvme drive, and fast boot and all that stuff in the power option is enabled. I already did a /sfc scan, it said that it fixed something corrupted, however, whatever it fixed was not related to this issue because it's still going on.

    Any ideas?

    Login screen does not appear

Sometimes, like half of the time, when I put my laptop in sleep mode, it fails to wake up enough to display the login screen. I must do a hard restart in order for it to appear so that I may login.
    Any suggestions?

    login screens

goto CONTROL PANEL/ USER ACCOUNTS then you have to remove all the other accounts except for the one you logon with....then restart...it should bypass the login tho it will still show the screen for it...it will continue to load windows...good luck*Rockout :rockout:

edit:: it asks for a login when there are more then one accounts..or if you set a pw to your login name...
