Windows 10: After the last update on Nov15/18 my ASUS laptop is freezing and then restarts.

So like I said my laptop is freezing and restarting this seems to be random but once it starts is seems to do it a couple of times an hour.

Have gone through all the troubleshooting and full scan not finding any problems, when it isn't doing this everything seems normal.Am considering doing a reset but not sure if it will help.

So just looking for some direction.

So I'm trying to Factory Reset my Asus laptop and while it prepares for a total reset it freezes and I've tried restarting the laptop and trying again but it freezes this is on Windows 10

Power troubleshooter to check for any incorrect power settings which may cause such. To do so, please do these steps:

• In the Control Panel Search field, type troubleshooting.
• Click Troubleshooting.

• Click Next to run the troubleshooting tool.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
