    After the latest update, everytime i boot up my screen becomes very dim except the cursor.


    I have found a temporary workaround where I use a AMD Radeon settings and change the Pixel Format setting it becomes normal, but everytime. And it automatically reverts back to dark screen if you go to settings > display or when you reboot.And I have also installed all the latest AMD display drivers and the issue still persists.I'm leaving a link to a reddit thread i found where people in the comments are facing the same issue, The issue appears to be fixed for some users but not all.https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/169fzxz/my_display_is_so_dark_but_my_cursor_is_still_

    How to dim screen?

    I tried googling Windows Ten, "how to dim screen," but the layout listed is not the layout I have. I just got Ten yesterday. How do you dim the screen?

    I can't even find the options in the Display section.

    I     have tried following the steps of booting into safe mode, going into the control panel and uninstalling the latest windows update that caused the 'Windows black screen with cursor' error. However, now it wont even boot to the desktop, it will show 'Automatic repairs being done' and then automatically booting to safe mode. Upon checking my BIOS, the SSD drive with windows installed with it, is not even showing up in the boot list/priority. (still able to see drive in bios under System status and when checking under windows installation time.)

    Moving cursor to edge of screen causes the screen to dim, help?

    basic updates or the hardware itself of your computer system is the issue. However, we don't want to assume anything yet until we isolate your concern. Can you provide us the answers to these questions:

    • Which version of Windows 10 are you using (e.g., 1703, 1607)?
    • Does the issue persists before the updates have been installed?
    • Have you tried replicating the issue in safe mode?
