  1. After the latest update. Windows 10 cannot access web pages

    On ALL browsers.

I received this update last night 8/29/2020. After rebooting, I could not access any web page on any browser. IE11 and Edge included.

Uninstalled the update on 8'30/2020 and all web pages work now.

Also, I received an update on 8/22/2020 that slowed web page loading to a crawl. If it didn't load, I got the error message "Could not load web page at this time". I am going to uninstall that one too.

Quit pushing this **** if you don't have the bugs worked out yet. I'm going to delay any further update until you get this fixed.

To reiterate, my computer worked great until the last 2 updates. I've made my living working on Microsoft products for the last 20 years so get technical on me. Why is this happening?

    :)

  2. Ahhzz Win User

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Unable to access the Admin page of my modem router since latest Windows 10 update

Since I updated the latest Win 10 update, I am unable to access my modem router's admin page. I previously never had any problems logging to the admin page. I took the extra step of uninstalling my antivirus/firewall program and logging in to no effect.
I can access the internet and have no issues in viewing any website. The only time I have been able to access the modem router admin page since the last Windows 10 update is when I start windows in Safe Mode with networking. Refer message below:

    Your Internet access is blocked
Firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection.

    Try:

    • Checking the connection
    • Checking firewall and antivirus configurations
    • Running Windows Network Diagnostics

    ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED

    Check your Internet connection
Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems or other network devices you may be using.

Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.

If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

    Building a Web Page Help

I am building a web page for my store and i admit its not my strong point. I have used Dreamweaver CS4 and the site when uploaded to the server does not show the frames i used to design the web page.

    Any suggestions?
