Windows 10: After the most recent cumulative windows 11 update, my Windows has been un-activated.

I recently built this machine back in June and purchased a windows 11 pro key to go with it and up until the most recent update there have been no problems with this license key. After the update to version 23H2 about a week later both mine and a buddy's PC suddenly no longer had activated windows. He was able to reenter his key and it activated but for some reason my PC "can't reach activation servers" with the key I originally used to activate windows. I went ahead and purchased another key in the event that the first one was faulty but it continues to give me the same error code 0x80072EE7

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile
