    Blank screen (no cursor). Can't power off.

    Hello,

    I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series (7559) running Windows 10.

    When I went to restart the computer, it hung on the restarting screen for ~30 minute. Ctrl-Alt-Del did nothing. Right clicking on the screen did nothing. Holding down the power button did nothing.

    I now have a completely blank screen (no image, no cursor, and connecting it to an external monitor does nothing). The laptop is still powered on (power lights are on & keyboard is lit up), but, again, holding down the power button does nothing. I can't
    force a reboot.

    Help?

    Cannot find power icon in taskbar

    Have you tried the suggestions listed on the right side of the screen, Showing the battery icon on the taskbar, yet?

    After you power your system,wait for a while to boot then press the power button once and after 10secs press the power button again and see if the screen will come up
