After the windows update of windows 10 2004, I cannot copy, paste, move, or any other function that I had before I did the update in the file explor search window.

I’m using Windows 10 Home 64-bit

With Intel Core i7 7700HQ @ 2.80GHz Kaby Lake 14nm Technology

And 16.0GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 1197MHz

And ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. GL503VMF U3E1

And Webroot Antivirus

How do I get the features back that I had before the update?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Explorer Copy and Paste problems

Hi,

The copy/paste problem could be due to Windows Explorer issue or faulty keyboard.

Wewould like to know some information to better isolate the problem:

• Is the issue also happening when trying to copy/paste any Office files, or is it only happening in Windows Explorer?
• Have you tried other ways like; right-click + Copy, then right-click + Paste?
  
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Windows Explorer Replacement?

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue
