    I have been having trouble with my computer after multiple updates several weeks ago and has gotten worse. At this point, when I turn on the machine in the morning it takes about 10 minutes to bring up anything. Often I need to hit a key for it to open something to put in a password or something. Now that only brings up a windows hello symbol and a bunch of boxes, not the key for the password. It used to bring up two accounts with my name unclear what each was, one had the key for the password. Now these are gone. I enter the password anyway and it starts sort of, but the following do not wo

    What version of Office was previously installed on your PC, (2013, 2016, 365)?

    Did you pay a subscription to Office or won it outright?

    Please try this first, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

    Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

    Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

    On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the Online Repair, it is a comprehensive fix

    That should fix any issues with your Office Installation . . .

    NOTE: Please be advised, if you are running Office 2013 or earlier, before attempting a repair, have your Microsoft Office Product Key at hand, Office may need to be re-activated in some cases

    Microsoft Office doesn't run...

    this used to be my parents to a "T" ....i used to get calls 2 times a week...ugh..thank god they are better now.. now its only once a month..LOL....i feel your pain man!

    She's the most computer illiterate person I know... seriously, my grandmother is more suited to use a computer than she is. She calls me in because MSE was downloading updates and she was afraid the animated downward moving arrow meant there was a problem...

    Open office does run on her machine, but she had to have microsoft office because "everyone wants you to use microsoft office" and "my sister would teach me how to use it"
