    After update in Win 11 Lost taskbar, start button,and functionality of Windows button.


    Tried all suggestion for standard fixes including restoring to previous state which happened to be after the problem. .settings will not come up, Task manager freezes,lost functionality in Firefix but not Chrome. can't get to updates to try and reinstall.Suggestions please

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    In the initial releases of Windows 11 there are many options missing from the Taskbar and Start Menu that wee in Windows 11.

    Microsoft listened to all the feedback from people and have started adding the functionality that people have asked for in Windows 11,soem were added in version 22h2 and the October update, the ability to ungroup Taskbar buttons is meant to be in an upcoming update.

    Please open the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and provide your suggestion on this mussing function to the Developers there, the more people that do, the sooner they will implement this.

    Start button & Taskbar are not responding after Nov. update

    My pc just finished the November 2015 update and the next day I lost the functionality of the start button as well as some of the program buttons on the taskbar (Edge, MS Store).

    This pc updated to win 10 from 8.1 a few weeks ago. Now, I cannot access the Settings menu to try and roll-back this upgrade!

    I have tried about 5 different suggestions from this web page and others with no success. At this point all I want is to rollback this upgrade.

    I would much appreciate any other suggestions before I have to buy a new computer...

    Greetings from a junior member!
    I have used all OS from 98 to this Win10 and still shed a tear for the demise of XP Pro...
    A new pc - bought, not built has Win 10 Home 64 bit on board.
    I has (or I have) lost the initial functionality it came with...
    Much of the commands from thew tool bar result in a quick flash, then gone.
    The start button (bottom left) will only work now via a right click to even close down.
    A left click is dead on the start button.

    From the hidden icon links, much the same.
    Quick flash from actions recommended and nothing further.

    I really do not want to go through a complete reformat and reinstall of OS...
    Any suggestions hw to restore this satanic device back to factory - without losing what I have already installed or set up?
