Windows 10: After update.

After the recent update my computer progressively gets worse.Edge and Google chrome loads slower and slower. The windows store and apps stop working. The only browser that doesn't seem affected is Mozilla firefox. I have had to do a reset twice now and reload everything I lost. It would run ok for a few days but get worse. How do I fix this.

Unable to delete a folder

Hi,

I've a folder that I'm unable to remove since 4 or 5 months : "C:\Users\Adrien\Videos\Resolve\s5t0.". When trying to delete or rename it with Windows explorer, it says me the folder can't be deleted because it doesn't exist anymore. I've try CCleaner (cleaning
both files and registry), RD command in the prompt and sure, Del key. Every time it says me that the folder doesn't exist, but it's still there.

My be the file is delete from the file system but still here in the index of the drive ?

Please help !

 

Windows 10 corrupted my BIOS

I've encountered the same problem but not during an update, during working on Adobe After Effects CC. Windows gave me an blue screen of death saying that my computer have encountered an error a'd need to restart, but it won't (no video signal on both gpu
and mobo). Since one month, I've tried everything possible to start when I discover that Windows have simply destroy my bios !

The only way i'be found to fix it is to use my mobo warranty and buy a new one and tru to find a solution to reactivate windows license.

If you believe that the update has failed you, and it's causing your PC to increasingly grow "worse", then you can try and revert to the previous build.

Follow Option 1 and select PREVIOUS BUILD in this tutorial: Boot to Advanced Startup Options in Windows 10 Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Tutorials

And let us know what happens.

Have you installed or opened any new software/apps/etc on your PC since the changes started?

 

Do you mean the Creators Update? Did you install it from Windows Update when offered for your PC or force the update? If the latter, then maybe your PC isn't ready for the update yet MS is doing a phased rollout of the CU.
