Windows 10: After updated to Window 11 my photo thumnail not showing up and the apps icon also not...

My window 11 cannot display thumbnail previews for photos, and also the icons of some apps. thumnail is not showing up inside folder thumnail is not showing up on desktop alsobut theres no problem to open the photo but as you can see even in photo viewer also wont display photo thumbnail.Tried to follow some setting on youtube tutorial and restart also useless. apps icon also not showing up on taskbar example: snipping tool, paint, notepad is a blank below there , icon is missing .Anyone can solve this???

Step 1: I suggest you to check if there is any update for Photos app from Windows Store. If found, try to update the app and check if it helps.

Open Windows Store, search for Photos app, check if you are able to find Update option.

Step 2: I suggest you to run the
Windows Store Apps troubleshooter as it troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

Step 3: I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.

Windows Store apps show Photos file icons

Today, I just noticed that my Windows Store apps now show Photos file icons. However, they don't apply to Win32 apps.

I tried the following:
1. Clearing icon cache in AppData\Local
2. Clearing icon cache in AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer using Admin Command Prompt
3. Running sfc /scannow
4. Running the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter
5. Checked for updates for Windows Photos, to no avail
6. Downloaded important Windows updates

Yet nothing happens and it still displays the Photos file icon. Can you please help me fix that??

I suggest you to follow the methods provided below and check if it helps.

Method 1:
Follow the below steps to update apps from store.

• Open Windows store.
• Click on the sign in icon next to the search option.
• Select the option download & update.
• Click on the check for the updates.

Method 2:
I would recommend you to uninstall the Photo app using Windows PowerShell command and reinstall using the Windows store. Follow the below steps.

• Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.
  
• Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• Enter the below command to uninstall the Photo app.
  
  • get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage
    

After performing the above steps, install the Photo app from the Windows store.
