Windows 10: After updates, computer won't get past the DELL symbol

Discus and support After updates, computer won't get past the DELL symbol in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; So not a computer expert, so needing to know if there is anyway I can get past the DELL symbol without having to turn the computer off and on again....     After updates, computer won't get past the DELL symbol


    So not a computer expert, so needing to know if there is anyway I can get past the DELL symbol without having to turn the computer off and on again. It seems since the latest update on my dell xps desktop when I turn the computer on it will get to the big DELL symbol and stay there. It has been on there for at least 10 minutes without anything changing. I then turn the computer off which I've been told not to do except in an emergency and back on again and then it gets past the symbol and gets to my welcome screen. I would like to know if there is another way to get past the DELL symbol without turning it off and on again. I tried esc and ctrl/alt/delete...nothing. Thank you for your help!!
