Windows 10: after updates on aug. 15 and aug. 17 2020 my lap

My laptop is not working since the Aug. 15 and aug 17 2020 UPDATES. THE SCREEN has ghost on it and the curser is irrated all over the place. The curser will open files on its own. The curser moves constantly so I can not get any thing done. PLEASE HELP ME.T

Windows 7 updates on 15/01/2020

Windows 7 support ended 14/01/2020 yet today(15/01/2020 I received updates. What;s that about?

 

after update 3/15/17 several problems

You may have already run across this but after reading hundreds or maybe thousands of complaints about the same problem. "After critical Windows update 3/15/17" the Windows DVD player stopped working. After reading through many, many reply's I ran across
a reply that said problem solved if you uninstall (KB4013429) installed at that time problem goes away. Don't know if that is the correct approach but I did and DVD player started working.

Suddenly cannot access websites with IE 11 on Win 10 Home as of 4/17/17 AM

I ran the System File Checker to "verification 100% complete" with "Windows did not find any integrity violations".

The error message I get is a white screen with the message "this page can't be displayed".

• make sure the web address is correct (it is)
• look for the page with your search engine (doesn't work)
• refresh the page in a few minutes (also doesn't work)
• [radio button] Fix Connection Problems (doesn't find an identifiable problem)

(This is preceded by tabs with the correct website names and spinning progress wheels, but ends in the above error message.)

Changes made prior to this issue which was not occurring in the three days prior and only noted in AM of 4/17/17:

• 4/14/17: Adobe Acrobat Reader 17.009.20044 (unstated publisher, automatic)
• 4/15/17: security update Adobe Flash Reader (Microsoft, automatic)
• 4/16/17: Security Update for Microsoft Windows KB4015217 (Microsoft, automatic)
• 4/16/17: change in boot menu from CD, Windows to CD, USB, Windows (manual, in BIOS)

Any ideas with this new information?
