After Updating Build 10586 display does not work at all

After installing10586 and rebooting my laptop display is blank. No cursor, nothing at all.

The system is working and I can log in remotely via RDC but the display does not work at all. I tried hooking up an external monitor but it was apparently mirrored from the laptop display and is also completely blank.

How do I resolve this? Suggestions would be much appreciated.

    thanks

    :)

Windows 10 build 10240 to build 10586 does not work

    Hello all,

I have Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7 in August 2015 in the 10240 build. I had several problems with upgrading to Windows 10 and also afterwards (start button not working and App store not working). Changing my profile to a Windows Live profile seems
    to resolve those problems

A few days ago I got a message I have to update the 10240 build to the 10586 build. After downloading the update (10586 build) the PC get restarted and start to update, however it get stuck on 26% total update and 88% copying files. I does not go further
    than that.

With restarting the PC the old Windows 10240 build is recovered, so I can use the PC again, however it seems better to update to the 10586 build.

Does anyone have any idea how to get the 10586 version on my PC!?

If possible without rebuilding my whole PC again from scrap.......

    Greetz,

    Edzo

  3. Microsoft Solitaire Collection error- Display Drivers stopped responding

I have the same issue everyone else describes. I suspect it is due to Build 10586. At least the problem only started on my SP3 after updating to 10586. It's strange that only Pyramid is crashing the display driver. Tri-Peaks seems to use similar animations
    but doesn't crash at all.

It appears you need an updated video driver.
