Windows 10: After updating to 1607 Cant login to windows with my password

Gentlemen

I did find an old thread about cant login but , it is 166 days old

so here we are with the same Question but maybe different approach
So i know my password I enter it all i get is the little circle going around for a few seconds and then it comes back asks me for password , it does not say password is incorrect , I just cant get to windows pass the log on screen

Any one having this problem ??

can any one please help ? i have tried the osk.exe osk.old DID not work
so i did a restore i get in to windows , I click on my name and choose Lock ( remember there is no password at this point i just removed it ) AND i still cant get in it just stays on the Login screen NOW that is a Little weird

But by restarting i can get in

any advice ?

Windows 10 Version 1607 Not Able to Further Update

Hi,

My current Windows 10 version is 1607.

Windows Update Assistant keeps reminding to further upgrade to a newer version because it cannot apply critical updates for my current version.

My issue is the installation files can complete the update process but the problem occurs when I want to login after the update.

At the login page, I keyin my password but the login gets stuck at a blank page for hours.

I need to reinstall to go back to older version (1607 again) then only can use.

Any idea?

I installed windows 10 in my laptop and i login with my Microsoft account and after 20 days i got one windows update . After that update i cant access my laptop. while i type my password it say it is wrong password

I got rid of the Problem I have reinstalled windows on a fresh install
did all my up dates and stay away from that stupid 1607 updade

and stick with the original 1511

I finally was able to sign into my Acer aspire 2 in 1 after frantically re-typing my "incorrect pin." I was able to switch to putting in my pin and being able to put in my Microsoft account's password associated with my tablet. It got me into Windows and went to see if I could fix my pin in my account sign in options, but no luck. It says my pin doesn't register with my company's records or something along those lines (can't really remember the phrase now because it's gone). It has to do with my school email that is also my Microsoft account as to why it's not working.
Before I was able to sign in, I was considering restoring my tablet/laptop. But it wouldn't recognize my Microsoft password to do so!
Thank god the password worked to sign in to Windows. Still don't know about the PIN problem. I'm exhausted now.

In my case I knew the password but still cant get in

what you are saying here (( re-typing my "incorrect pin." )) that's a Different Avenue
