Windows 10: After updating to windows 11, Sounds in games is way quieter when coming from behind

I updated from windows 10 to 11 a few weeks ago and have been struggling with this problem where in games the sound coming from behind is way quieter. I have tested this on youtube and the behind audio works normally. Help! System sounds are quieter.

Hello. Today I noticed that the system sounds have become quieter. I connected a mouse and heard a faint sound. Sound seems to be muffled now. But I didn't change any sound settings. I have the latest audio driver and all windows updates installed. Restore system files commands did not help. I am using an acer nitro 5 laptop. Also, the same system sound sounds different in different places. Could it be after a windows update? I don't know what to do, help!
