Windows 10: After updating to windows 2004 my LocalHost:3000 is not working also Create-react-app is...

I have updated my windows machine to the new windows update 2004. After the update, I am not able to open my localhost:3000. As a web dev, I do work a lot with React and Vue and if my localhost doesn't work I am finished. It this context want to add that before the update all ports were opening fine.

Update - Create-react-app is also not working(unable to make a project with it)

Access localhost from another computer

Localhost, as the name suggests, points at the localhost. Use the hostname or IP from your computer on their PC's. ie something in the 192.168.x.x or 10.0.0.x range most likely.

 

Lifecam HD-3000 stops working

Hi,

Have you updated the drivers for Lifecam HD-3000?

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers in Compatibility mode and check if it works:

Follow the steps to uninstall the driver:

• Press Windows Key + X key.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Right-click on the driver listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Now download the drivers the manufacturer website and install it in Windows 8.1 compatibility mode. Follow the steps provided below to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Windows 8.1 operating system from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

Lost localhost access after Windows 10 upgrade

Hi,

I used to run web apps on localhost (on a dedicated port) and it works well on Windows 8.1.

After the upgrade to Windows 10, I cannot access to the apps via any kind of browsers, I always get a timeout error...

localhost access (direct or on a port) seems blocked.

I found some known causes on forums but nothing changes:

• disabled IIS
• tried to find World Wide Web Publishing Service: not running on my PC
• allowed Localhost Loopback in Edge

Does anyone meet the same issue?
