Windows 10: After Updating Win 10 8/11/2020 Search Box with Recent Files Keeps Popping Up

Updated Windows on 8/11/2020. After doing update I get Black Popup box that just randomly pops up.


Search box is at the bottom and the upper part sometimes has Apps and other times has recently opened files. I click back on what I am working on and it goes away. Very annoying and I made no changes to settings other than Updating.


Cortana is Disabled


Please help.

Where is the file search box in Win 10?

Just type Win key + S and you should see the search box pop up.

Alternatively, you can right-click on the start button and select search from the menu.

No idea then, you can use Cortana and get the results below, or type it into file explorer and it does the same... bot suggested above and quite simple to use.. very similar to Windows 7
