Windows 10: After updating Windows 10, canon MF toolbox can't find scanner program.

Hello.We have multiple users sharing one computer.It was install driver & Canon MF 4770n scanner program under ADMIN user , all users are 'USER groups' & each user has a password. No Domain , network copier setting After updating Windows 10, MF scanner program does not run & the scan button on the copier cannot be used.I've reinstalled countless times & the Windows Scan & Fax program doesn't work either.Please tell me what to do. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------Hello.I set it in the admin use

Windows 10- Canon MF4350d Toolbox for scanner doesn't work

Windows 10- Canon MF4350d Toolbox for scanner doesn't work - Problem solved when I uninstalled the newest version of printer driver and MF Toolbox I downloaded from Canon official website. Luckily I still keep the disc when I bought the printer. I reinstalled
the original printer driver and Toolbox software came with driver. Scanner works perfect now.

 

Canon MF Toolbox scan function not responding

Hi there- I have been using Windows 10 for a while and the scan function in the Canon MF Toolbox for MF8580 worked well. After the latest Windows update, I cannot scan any documents anymore ("scanner is not responding"). I am being asked to select a scanner,
which I do, does not help. There is no connection issue as the printing works fine.

We understand your concern as you are unable to use the scanning option after the Windows Update. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the exact model number of the Cannon Scanner?
  
• What is the KB number of the Windows Update installed prior to this issue?
  
• What is the error you are getting, while scanning?
  

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to update the scan driver and check.

1. Press Windows + X keyand selectDevice Manager
   from the context menu.
   
2. Spot and expand the “Imaging devices”.
   
3. Right click on the Scanner driver and select
   “Uninstall”
   
4. Check the box beside “Delete the driver software for this device”
   
5. Restart the PC and then install the driver from Canon website
   

If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to run Canon’s MF Toolbox in compatibility mode.

1. Firstly you need to uninstall the Canon MF Toolbox V 4.9.11mf18 from the PC
   
2. Then download the Canon MF Toolbox from the
   Canon website.
   
3. Enter your scanner’s model and follow the on-screen instructions to download the utility. Once downloaded, then install the application.
   
4. Now run the application and use it to send scanning requests to your scanner.
