Windows 10: After updating Windows 11 last update, the Ultrawide monitor resolution is not supported....

This happened last year as well, and during the next update, it was automatically fixed. However, it has occurred once again. ????????????????After installing the latest Windows update, I noticed that my Ultrawide monitor's resolution is no longer being supported properly. Prior to the update, the monitor displayed content at its native resolution without any issues. However, following the update, the resolution options seem limited, and the display quality has notably decreased. I recently updated to Windows 11. I have a LG 34 inch ultrawide monitor (21:9 aspect ratio, 2560x1080 resolution). Windows 11 selects the generic Pnp monitor driver, which has a max 1920x1080 resolution, so the screen is fuzzy and stretched out - really unusable. LG does not have an updated driver, Windows 11 has all updates installed has no updates available related to this driver and it will only select this as the recommended resolution.

Is there no support for 2560x1080 HDMI monitors in windows 11?

Cuz we all live in a retarded world where we can have 2560 x 1080 ultra wide screen in safe mode but not in regular mode!!

But seriously how do I have ultrawide screen only in safe mode but not in regular mode?

How does safe modes generic **** driver provide better support?

is it becuase its stuck in 8 bit color mode?

 

Can't select 2560x1080 resolution for ultrawide monitor with Windows 10 1909 Update

OK. I connected my new LG Ultrawide monitor and still have the same problem, I can only get a max of 1920x1080 resolution. I decided to do the Windows 10 update 1909. After the update, I decided to uninstall the Intel UHD 630 driver, then reboot. When
the computer started back up, the resolution was 2560x1080, perfect; however, even though it was the right resolution, on the display settings, the resolution was grayed out. Within about a minute of the reboot (all the time, the computer wheel is spinning),
the monitor blinked and it was put back to 1920x1080! I think what was happening was the graphics driver was being reinstalled. Anyone have any suggestions on what my next step should be? All your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
