Windows 10: After Updating Windows - Suddenly the Copy of Windows 11 That I Paid for Isn't Valid

I bought Windows 11 Pro from Central Computers in Silicon Valley in December of 2023. I have the Windows 11 Pro CD in hand. It's a legitimate copy that I PAID FOR. However, after updating windows a couple of days ago I noticed all these "activate Windows' messages. So, I go into System >> Activation but Windows 11 says that I have no product key. Now Windows wants me to buy a second copy of Windows 11 Pro.Whatever.This is why people use Apple macOS

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

 

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile
