Windows 10: After upgrade to Windows 11 - Epson ES-500WR scanner takes 45 seconds to begin feeding...

After upgrading to windows 11, my Epson ES-500WR Scanner has a delay of 45 seconds from the time I click on the scan button, to the time it starts feeding the papers into the scanner to be scanned. Once it starts scanning, it works perfectly... I have uninstalled, and reinstalled, I used epsons registry cleaner software, and re-installed, I just did a re-install of windows 11.. I think it was called an "in-place" install.. where i did not have to re-install everything... My wifes computer was also upgraded to windows 11, but does not have this problem. Scanner driver for Windows 11 - Epson ES-300W

I am having problems using an Epson ES-300W portable scanner. Just purchased laptops for staff and they came pre-loaded with Windows 11. We have tried both Epson Scan 2 and Windows Scan and neither work properly. I do not want to replace 20 scanners. Where can I get a Windows 11 Driver for Epson ES-300W?

 

How can I get my Epson ES-400 scanner to work in Windows 11?

My ES-400 works fine in Windows 10 software but when I went to Windows 11 it will not work. It shows up in the Device Manager as working fine. If I look at the scanner software from windows it list's it as an available option but it will not work. It will spin forever, endlessly. If I click on the software from Epson for the scanner it comes up with "The scanner is in use or unavaialbe. Please wait. (E1460-B305)"

I was on the phone with Epson for 45 minutes to be told it was an issue with Windows.

I have tried all the solutions online that I could find to no avail.
