Thank you for your reply. Please try the following:

1. Look on your F keys (F1 - F12). If you see the camera icon, press that to enable the camera or use FN + the camera logo.

2. Look for a camera switch. For reference, you can check this link: https://support.microsoft.com/windows/camera-do...

3. Check your camera lens closely for a possible camera shutter. If you see one, try sliding it to uncover the camera.

4. Use an older driver:

Press Windows + X then click Device Manager

Expand Cameras, Imaging devices

Right-click on your Camera driver and click Update

Select Browse my computer for drivers

Click 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer'

Select any older driver from the list and click next

Restart your computer.

Camera not working

Hey,

I have a Dell Laptop but unfortunately, it's not the same model as yours. I was experiencing the same issue though and what ended up happening after all of the troubleshooting steps I followed, I came to a support page that also gave suggestions of what to look for physically on my laptop. I did not know that my built in camera has a shutter also! It is very tiny but if it is positioned to the right move it left and it will uncover the lens. They also gave other ideas about where to look and what to look for. Just got to Microsoft support page and type in camera not working and it gives a few different articles. And it actually was something so simple, and I was becoming a technical troubleshooting genius for nothing. I hope this helps.

i think these issues are already posted, but no solution as yet.



like everyone i was having scratches near the lens, so i removed the lens cover.

now my camera application doesnt work. i am on v12.

the camera application freezes, ive resintalled the firmware, reseted factory settings, everything !

no luck with starting the camera application.



ps, i even tried attaching the lens cover back, that didnt help either. :|





any solutions nokia ????
