I have upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 10 without recording the list of programs that I had attached to the start menu. I would like to find that list if it is stored somewhere. If so, where is it?

    :)

  2. Lumia " The Future is Here "

This is a support forum, not a complaints department.

I suggest you directly submit your complaints about hardware to Nokia and software to Microsoft.

Also it often helps to read reviews when switching platforms to make sure it suits your needs. From what you've said the Lumia 820 clearly doesn't suit you.

What RSXforever wrote was a kind of review, that can help other people to judge, if Lumia is the right phone for them.

After upgrading, is the old list of "pin to start menu" accessable?

I found this old thread: Where is the list of pinned start menu and taskbar items stored in Windows 7 - Super User

    %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu
    %appdata% is C:\Users\<youraccountname>\AppData\Roaming

Look in C:\Windows.old for the above, may still be there if you haven't deleted that directory structure yet.

    C:\Windows.old\Users\<youraccountname>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu

    It's different for Windows 10.
