    When I boot my machine, audio works fine. I can play Spotify, watch YouTube etc and everything plays as you would expect. This is both using a Bluetooth speaker, direct connection via cable, and via my monitor speakers connected using a display port cable. However if I wake the machine from sleep mode, YouTube/Spotify don't play any audio, and the only thing that makes any noise (via any of the speaker options mentioned) is any windows alerts, or changing the volume via the taskbar which makes the binging noise.

    I've updated drivers, cecked for Windows updates. Nothing listed as having an issue in device manager. Disabling and enabling devices in device manager makes no difference.

    A reboot and everything works again...until it goes to sleep and gets woken up.

    Anyone have any suggestions what the issue might be?

    Audio device unrecognised after waking from sleep


    From time to time I wake my laptop from sleep and find that the audio driver (Conexant Venice) is no longer loaded. The audio hardware is listed in the Device Manager as just "base system device" (or two base system devices, to be precise). Rebooting fixes the problem each time, but it takes a while. Is there a quicker way to make the audio work again than rebooting? I've tried obvious steps like running the troubleshooter and disabling and then re-enabling the devices.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    Hello,

    Double Tap to wake doesn`t work at my Lumia 620. I have all on in settings but still doesn`t work. I`m pretty sure that in update AMBER or BLACK this function works properly. But after DENIM update doesn`t. Maybe you are planning some update for this future
    ?
